EzyBead Warranty & Guarantee

EzyTrading™ Pty Ltd ACN 098 810 989 as the manufacturer of EzyBead™ provides the following warranty and guarantee to purchasers –

Warranty EzyBead™

  1. is manufactured using high quality materials and controls
  2. is handled in the factory up to the point of dispatch so as to avoid any exposure to water
  3. will not cause any rust or discoloration to internal walls (water penetration excluded)
  4. is free from manufacturing defects
  5. is a fit and proper product for the purpose
  6. EzyBead™ must be bedded in with a base coat cement (Do not use all Purpose cements when
    bedding in or when first coating)
  7. EzyBead™ must be installed using an EzyBead™ corner roller
  8. EzyBead™ MUST be installed as per the EzyBead™ installation guide (no exceptions)
  9. Should be primed before painted (if spraying, paint should contain no more than 10% water as
    recommended by the paint manufacturer)
  10. EzyBead must not come in contact with any type of solvent.

Guarantee

We will at our cost replace the product or refund the purchase price (at our option) to the purchaser if the product fails in any way, subject to the exclusions set out herein, provided that:

A the purchaser notifies us in writing of the defect within 7 days of it being discovered by the purchaser or user, and
B the purchaser provides full written disclosure as to all matter relating to the exclusions set out herein, and
C the defect is discovered within 1 year of the purchase being made.

Exclusions

This warranty and guarantee are voided if:

  1. If our recommended application and handling techniques are not followed
  2. If the plasterboard manufacturer’s warranty is breached or if their recommended application or handling techniques are not followed
  3. If EzyBead™ is installed using all purpose cements
  4. If the product comes in contact with water at any time when the product is under the control of persons other than us
  5. If there is any neglect, abuse or mishandling of the product or if any person other than us fails to take reasonable care in handling the product or maintaining the work site or building where it is stored or used, storage must be in a cool, dry area away from radiant heat or direct sunlight
  6. If there is any interference by third parties
  7. If solvents are used in the paint or prior to painting
  8. Any act of God or natural catastrophe
  9. Poor building practices

This document states the full extent of our warranty and guarantee and all other statutory or other warranties or guarantees are expressly excluded. We will not be liable for any consequential damage to property or persons  howsoever caused.

Painters Note:

  1. The metal surface of EzyBead™ must be primed with a brush prior to spraying.
  2. Do not spray EzyBead™ directly with watered down paints.
  3. Do not use solvents when preparing or painting EzyBead
  4. Refer to paint manufactures specifications on priming metal surfaces
